General Conduct Guidelines
Discipline is the backbone of education, and at Muthu Mari Matriculation Higher Secondary
School, we uphold a strong culture of respect, responsibility, and self-discipline. Our
school norms and code of conduct are thoughtfully designed to create a safe, structured,
and harmonious learning environment for all students.Students are expected to uphold values
of integrity, discipline, and courtesy at all times,
both within and outside the school premises.
Attendance & Punctuality
- Attendance is compulsory and students must be punctual every day.
- Students should attend all classes as per the academic schedule.
- Leave requests must be written; medical leave needs a certificate.
Uniform & Grooming
- Prescribed uniform and sportswear must be worn on assigned days.
- Boys should keep hair and nails clean and neatly trimmed.
- Girls with long hair must plait it and use plain black ribbons.
Language & Behavior
- Politeness and respectful words must be used at all times.
- Abusive language and bullying are strictly not permitted.
- English should be spoken within campus for better fluency.
Preparation & Materials
- All necessary books and tools must be brought as per schedule.
- Lessons should be reviewed before coming to the classroom.
- Every student must carry their ID card each school day.
Conduct During School Hours
- Silence must be maintained during classes, events, and assembly.
- All students must behave respectfully toward everyone at school.
- Leaving the class or school requires proper permission in advance.
Upholding School Ethos
- Cleanliness and order must be maintained in school premises.
- Show pride in school property and behave with responsibility.
- Instructions from staff must be followed without arguments.
